DES MOINES, Iowa – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish competed at the Drake Relays, crushing it in the 4x800m relay, 4x1600m relay, and the distance medley relay.
4x1600m Relay
1st – Siona Chisolm, Claire Sievern, Andrea Markezich, Olivia Markezich
Recording a time of 18:44.15, the Irish won the Drake Relays with a stunning NCAA collegiate record in the 4x1600m.
Distance Medley Relay
1st – Siona Chisolm, Kate McAndrew, Gretchen Farley, Olivia Markezich
The Irish won the DMR with a time of 10:54.50, taking the win by over 10 seconds.
4x800m Relay
2nd – Gretchen Farley, Kate McAndrew, Kaleigh Gunsiorowski, Claire Sievern
In the 4x800m relay, Farley, McAndrew, Gunsiorowski, and Sievern broke the previous school record for the relay, which stood for over 10 years, as they ran it in an impressive time of 8:32.16.
