BOSTON, Mass. – Four Men from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish track and field team competed in the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10.
Vincent Mauri led the way with a top 25 finish as he set a PR in 5000 meter race, running a 13:35.36. He was followed by Ethan Coleman who finished 29th and ran a 13:38.81. Carter Solomon ran a 13:50.70 and Tyler Berg ran a 13:59.10 in the 5000m.
Marui, Coleman, and Solomon’s times in the David Hemery Invitational are among the top 20 best finishes in the 5000m in the ACC. Mauri’s time of 13:35.36 sits in sixth with Coleman’s time of 13:38.81 right behind him in seventh and Soloman’s time of 13:50.70 is twelfth in the ACC so far this season.
