CHARLOTTE, NC – As announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon, the Irish earned three All-ACC honors this week as Olivia Markezich, Michael Shoaf, and Gretchen Farley were each recognized.

ACC Women’s Indoor Rookie of the Week – Gretchen Farley
Markezich had herself a day on Saturday as she ran a PR time of 4:27.76 in the Meyo Mile, finishing 11 seconds ahead of the next finisher. Her 4:27.76 finish not only leads the ACC, but now currently leads the NCAA in the women’s mile so far this season.
Shoaf took home first in the shot put in the Meyo Invitational as he recorded a 19.93m throw in the event. His throw of 19.93m in the Meyo Invitational puts him in first place in the ACC and second in the NCAA so far this season. He also took home third in the weight throw with a 20.13m throw.
Farley led the Irish in the 800m of the Meyo Invitational with a time of 2:05.69. Setting a PR in the event, she now sits in the top five of the best ACC performances so far this season.
