The Eagles carried their momentum into the second set as they posted an early 10-4 lead to force a Notre Dame timeout. It wasn’t long before the Irish were able to force the Boston College timeout as a 4-0 run brought the Irish within two at 13-11. A Anna Bjork and Mallory Bohl block tied it up at 14-all, but the Eagles would take the 20-16 advantage to force the second Irish timeout before going on to take the third 25-19.
Boston College led 11-4 to start the third and while the Irish battled to close the gap to five at 12-7, the Eagles picked up momentum. The Irish battled to overcome the deficit, but Boston College would claim set three 25-17.
