Set One
While the Yellow Jackets led 11-5 to start the match, back-to-back kills from Phyona Schrader sparked a run from the Irish to bring it within two at 11-9. Georgia Tech extended their lead to six again at 17-11, but a kill from Lauren Tarnoff, an ace from Schrader, and a Yellow Jacket attack error made it a 17-14 set. The Irish worked to bridge the gap, but Georgia Tech would take set one 25-16.
Set Two
It was back and forth to start the second as neither team was able to pull away by more than two as the Irish trailed by just one at 10-9. The Yellow Jackets would go on a 9-2 run to extend the lead to 19-11. A kill from Lucy Trump and an Irish block brought it within six at 19-13, but Georgia Tech took set two 25-15.
Set Three
It was a similar start to set three with seven ties up to the 13-all mark. While Irish worked relentlessly to put the ball away, the Georgia Tech defense remained tough as the Yellow Jackets would go on to take the third 25-14.
