The University of Notre Dame women’s golf team finished 12th in the 2022 Clover Cup, the annual tournament hosted by the Irish in Arizona. This year’s competition was held at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona, from March 11-13, 2022.
Notre Dame finished 12th (892, +28), paced by freshman Montgomery Ferreira who finished tied for 27th overall (219, +3) and finished off the competition with a 70 in the final round.
Sophomore Chloe Schiavone was second on the team in a tie for 35th (221, +5), followed by junior Madelyn Jones in 42nd (223, +7).
Clemson claimed the team title at 846, -18, while LSU’s Ingrid Lindblad won the individual title with a 203, -13.
Next up for the Irish as they continue their spring schedule will be the Clemson Invitational March 24-25 at The Reserve Golf Course in Lake Keowee, South Carolina.
