SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame men’s tennis team closed the book on the 2025-26 season this week after the ITA announced its end-of-year All-Academic Team and Scholar-Athlete lists. The Fighting Irish were not only named a 2026 ITA All-Academic Team, but also achieved six ITA Scholar-Athletes.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must meet the following requirements:
- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
This marked the 12th straight year the Notre Dame men have been recognized for their hard work in the classroom. In fact, the Irish have been named an ITA All-Academic Team for 14 of the past 15 years.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
The Fighting Irish landed six on the list for the first time since 2023. Those six student-athletes were:
- Perry Gregg
- Noah Becker
- Evan Lee
- Giuseppe Cerasuolo
- Kyran Magimay
- Luis Llorens Saracho
Becker went a perfect 4-for-4 on the ITA Scholar-Athlete list, while Magimay and Lee are now both three-time winners. In addition, Llorens Saracho won for the second time.
