Irish Return Home to Host ACC Series Against Clemson

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame baseball returns home to host an ACC series against No. 19 Clemson. Game one of the three-game series begins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday night at Frank Eck Stadium.

THE MATCHUP

• The Irish trail in the all-time series 15-20.
• Notre Dame won the opener but fell in the series at Louisville last weekend.
• Clemson lost their ACC series against Georgia Tech but enter the weekend with a three-game winning streak after a pair of midweek wins.

LAST TIME OUT

Notre Dame won game one but fell in games two and three in an ACC series at Louisville.

• The Irish scored 10 runs with two grand slams without recording an out in the fourth inning to take a 14-11 win in game one. Noah Coy and Davis Johnson provided the firepower with the grand slams.
• Parker Brzustewicz and Mason Barth each tallied three hits in an 8-7 setback in game two.
• Davis Johnson capped off a strong weekend against the Cardinals with a pair of home runs – including a second grand slam of the weekend – in a 21-12 final in the rubbermatch.

• Sophomore Oisin Lee came in at 74th on the relief pitchers list.
• Junior Davis Johnson was listed at 132nd in the outfielder rankings.

Additionally, Notre Dame had representation on the D1Baseball Impact Freshman List as Caden Crowell came in at No. 9 on the ranking.
