NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s soccer team shut out Ball State, 3-0, in a spring exhibition match on Wednesday night at Alumni Stadium.
Eva Hurm scored on a ball from Shannon Hendricks in the first 45 seconds of the game to put the Irish on the board first. Alexis Martel-Lamothe netted Notre Dame’s second goal of the night with an assist from Sabrina Flores on a set piece.
Ann Marie Niro‘s second-half goal (also assisted by Flores) wrapped the scoring for the Irish, who move to 2-0 overall in their spring season.
