NOTRE DAME, Indiana — The University of Notre Dame baseball team fall season is in full swing under new head coach Link Jarrett and the Irish have an exhibition on deck against Southern Indiana. The Irish will head south to take on the Screaming Eagles on Saturday, October 19 in the second annual #CureFA exhibition.
“We are very excited to participate in our game Saturday for Sam Archuleta,” said Jarrett. “Obviously the fundraising and awareness components of the day carry importance far beyond the game of baseball. Looks like the weather will be fantastic and things are lining up for a truly beautiful day.”
Saturday’s game will start at 2 p.m. ET at historic Bosse Field in Evansville, Indiana. The exhibition game will benefit the fight against Friedreich’s’s Ataxia (FA), a degenerative neuro-muscular disorder that affects one in 50,000 people in the United States. Tickets for the game can be purchased online here.
