Irish Travel to Raleigh for Series Against the Wolfpack

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame baseball team travels to Raleigh, North Carolina to take on NC State in a three-game ACC series from Thursday through Saturday at Doak Field at Dail Park.

THE MATCHUP

• The Irish trail 13-18 in the all-time meetings between the two teams.
• Notre Dame is on the road for the first time since March 15.
• NC State fell in a 7-5 midweek final against Liberty on Tuesday night.

LAST TIME OUT

Notre Dame fell in a three-game series against No. 13 North Carolina.

• Jack Radel struck out 10 batters over 6.0 innings in a no-decision outing. Noah Coy went 3-for-4 at the dish with a home run, a triple, two runs and an RBI. Davis Johnson and Jayce Lee each belted a home run in a 6-5 final in game one.
• Game two went to the Tar Heels by a 13-7 final score. Bino Watters went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and a home run. Watters added a walk, two RBI and two runs. Mark Quatrani was 2-for-5 with a home run.
• In game three, Drew Berkland went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI in the 15-10 setback. Noah Coy went 2-for-4 at the dish with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Ty Uber struck out three over four innings of work, and Dylan Singleton struck out a season-high five batters.

• Junior Jack Radel was 29th on the  starting pitchers list.
• Junior Mark Quatrani was 49th on the catchers list.
• Graduate student Drew Berkland was 63rd on the outfielders report.
• Sophomore Oisin Lee came in at 74th on the relief pitchers list.
• Junior Davis Johnson was listed at 132nd in the outfielder rankings.

Additionally, Notre Dame had representation on the D1Baseball Impact Freshman List as Caden Crowell came in at No. 9 on the ranking.
