BUCARAMANGA, Colombia — Karen and Kevin Keyes Family Head Coach Niele Ivey already has a trophy case full of accomplishments, and she can add another one to the collection.
On Sunday, Ivey won a gold medal as an assistant coach for Team USA in the 2024 FIBA U18 Americup, as the Americans downed Canada, 80-69. While Ivey served as a camp coach for Team USA last summer, this was her first full stint with Team USA in international competition.
The American squad was dominant from start to finish throughout the tournament, winning its six games by an average of 67.8 points and scoring more than 100 points in four of six contests.
