Spring Tryout Information 

24-25 University of Notre Dame Cheerleading Tryout Packet

Spring Open Practices:

Dates: January 30^th, February 2o^th

March 19^th 27t^th

April 2^nd 3^rd, 9^th, 10^th, 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th

Time: 5:00 p.m.

Location: Gym 1 of the JACC (above gate 8) Gates 1 and 2 are the best points of entry!

Spring Open Practices are open to current high school seniors who have applied to, or students who are currently enrolled at Notre Dame, Holy Cross College, or St. Mary’s College and intend to pursue a spot on the cheerleading team. Spring Open Practices are a great opportunity to experience the culture of our team and prepare for the 2024 tryout process.

Spring Open Practice Requirements:

• Students accepted, awaiting admittance, or are currently enrolled at Notre Dame, Holy Cross College, or St. Mary’s College
• Females who attend are required to have a standing back handspring and standing back tuck
• Males who attend are required to have previous individual or team athletic experience

Waiver forms are required and will be provided upon arrival. If you are a minor and planning to attend email ndcheer@nd.edu to receive a waiver in advance to be signed by your legal guardian.

Required In-Person Tryout Document Links:

Up-to-date physical (within 6 months) – while there is no form for this, a full physical with a signature from the physician clearing the individual is required.
