Kevin Corrigan Inducted Into IMLCA Hall Of Fame

Baumer Family Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Kevin Corrigan was inducted into the IMLCA Coaches Hall of Fame this past weekend as part of the 2025 class in Orlando, Florida.

Corrigan was joined by John Danowski, John Desko and John Tillman as members of the 2025 induction class.

Corrigan captured the first two NCAA national championships in program history at Notre Dame, winning back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. After both championships, Corrigan was named the USILA DI Coach of the Year.

Notre Dame has recorded 360 wins during Corrigan’s tenure, the most for any head coach at a single DI institution in men’s lacrosse history. The 360 victories rank him in the top five of all-time wins by a head coach at the DI level.

Over that time the Fighting Irish have appeared in 28 NCAA Tournaments, seven Championship Weekends and four title games. The Fighting Irish have won 21 regular-season conference titles and five conference tournament titles under Corrigan’s direction.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Corrigan assisted the Cavaliers during both the 1987 and `88 seasons under head coach Jim “Ace” Adams. During a three-year playing career at Virginia, Corrigan scored five goals and registered six assists. He played in 20 games as a midfielder. In his sophomore season in 1979, the Cavaliers reached the NCAA final.
