South Bend, Ind. – Former Notre Dame football coach Ara Parseghian was scheduled to be the subject of the fifth annual Life Treatment Centers (LTC) roast on April 28 at the Joyce Center.

Those scheduled to roast Parseghian included actor George Wendt, former Irish All-Americans Terry Hanratty, Jim Seymour, Jack Snow, Bob Gladieux and Frank Pomarico – and Parseghian’s first team captain, Jim Carroll (who will assume duties as president of the Monogram Club in June). Others on the list included Dan Harshman-who played for Parseghian and is now executive director of the Logan Center, a non-profit South Bend agency serving the handicapped-and Tom Pagna, former Irish football offensive coordinator and long-time Westwood One color analyst on Notre Dame football radio broadcasts.

A portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to Parseghian’s Niemann-Pick Foundation, established to help find a cure for the rare disease which afflicts two of Parseghian’s grandchildren. Look for a recap of the roast in the summer issue of Inside Irish.
