All-Academic Team for the third time of his career

CHARLOTTE – The Atlantic Coast Conference released its list of 17 men’s basketball student-athletes who met the requirements for ACC All-Academic Team recognition. On that list was none other than Notre Dame junior guard Logan Imes. The Strategic Management major from Zionsville, Indiana, earned the achievement for the third time in his career.

To earn ACC-All Academic Team status, one must:

  • be an undergraduate student-athlete who has been enrolled at the institution for at least one academic year
  • earned a cumulative GP of 3.00, including a 3.00 GPA in the most recent two semesters
  • competed in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests

This past season, Imes played in all 31 games, which included 10 starts. Imes shot 37.7 percent from the floor to go with his 4.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

He was playing his best ball down the stretch, scoring in double figures in three of the last six games. Imes averaged 8.8 ppg in that stretch, connecting on 45.5 percent from the field and 10-22 from three.

Imes best game was a 14-point performance in the win over Georgia Tech, nearly recording a double-double with a career best nine rebounds.
