THE INDIANA SERIES
• Notre Dame and Indiana will face each other on Wednesday evening for the 44th time in series history.
• The two sides meet nearly ever season but did not play during the 2020-21 campaign due to adjusted schedules for COVID-19.
• The Irish are 10-30-3 against the Hoosiers in the all-time series.
• Despite trailing in the series, the rivalry has been much more even as of late, as the Irish have recorded a mark of 5-6-2 in the last 13 meetings dating back to the 2010 season.
• The Hoosiers escaped Alumni Stadium with an overtime victory during the 2021 campaign in the season-opener, pulling out a 3-2 win.
• The Irish battled the Hoosiers to a standstill in Bloomington in the most recent matchup, recording a 1-1 draw on Sept. 17, 2019.
THE LAST TIME OUT
• The Irish defeated Boston College by a score of 2-1 on Friday evening at Alumni Stadium.
• Wyatt Borso and Eno Nto each scored first half goals to give Notre Dame the early lead.
• Bryan Dowd made four saves to secure the victory, including back-to-back highlight reel stops that made Saturday’s SportsCenter Top 10.
• Dowd also picked up the first assist of his career from a goal that came off a goal kick.

• Notre Dame escaped Charlottesville with a thrilling 2-1 road win over Virginia in ACC play on Friday, Sept. 16.
• KK Baffour provided the heroics, scoring the match winner with 3.1 seconds left after Matthew Roou played him through on goal just before crossing the midfield line.
• Baffour’s goal was the first of his collegiate career.
• Notre Dame has now won three of the last four matchups against Virginia and the last 11 matches have been decided by a goal or ended in a draw.
#3 RANKED FRESHMAN CLASS IN THE COUNTRY
• The Irish welcome a seven-man freshman class to South Bend which was ranked as the No. 3 class in the country by TopDrawerSoccer.
• The class features four players ranked in IMG’s top 200 rankings, each ranking in the top 100.
• The seven players come from a combined five states and one foreign country (Ghana).
