Notre Dame is heading to the northeast for its annual fall trip as part of the Notre Dame men’s lacrosse fall experience. The centerpiece of the fall schedule is this weekends trip to Boston for an exhibition game against Harvard at 2 p.m. ET and an exhibition at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, at 2:30 p.m. ET.
The Irish have played both Harvard and Yale in the last decade in the NCAA Championship, defeating Harvard in the first round of the 2014 tournament by a score of 13-5 and taking down Yale in the first round of the tourney in 2012 by a final of 13-7.
TRIP TO ESPN
After the two scrimmages the Irish will make the trek to Bristol, Connecticut, to take a tour of ESPN’s facilities. The team will meet with talent and executives during the day and get a look into the entertainment industry. The experience will take up the majority of the day on Monday, Oct. 15.
NEW YORK CITY NETWORKING TRIP
The final stop of the trip will come in the Big Apple, as team members will look to continue expanding their connections with the 10th annual New York City Networking Trip on Tuesday, Oct 16. Exclusively for the sophomore and junior classes, the trip offers a full day of networking with firms and Notre Dame alumni from various industries, such as finance, media and commercial real estate.
The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse staff dedicates time each fall to organizing two premier trips for the season. The New York Networking event has developed into a staple for the program. The team has also visited Washington, D.C.; Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; San Francisco, California and Seattle, Washington.
