September 6, 2021: The No. 9 ranked Notre Dame football team (1-0) outlasted the Florida State Seminoles (0-1), 41-38, in overtime Sunday night at Doak Campbell Stadium. Jonathan Doerer hit a 41-yard field goal to clinch the game in the first overtime after Florida State missed their field goal attempt.
