KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Eight members of the Notre Dame women’s tennis team competed at the Western Michigan Super Challenge this weekend. Going in to the tournament, head coach Jay Louderback said the Irish would be trying out all new doubles teams in preparation for the upcoming spring season.

All three doubles teams entered into the main bracket won their first round matches with freshman Monica Robinson and sophomore Julie Vrabel making it to the semifinals before falling to Indiana’s Garre and Fuhimoto, 6-5 (5).

The Irish also competed in three days of singles to close out their fall season. Freshman Jane Fennelly and Vrabel both went undefeated in singles for the weekend. Singles results from the weekend are posted below and doubles results are contained in the bracket linked above.
