NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Unseasonably cold temperatures have forced the postponement of the opening game of this weekend’s conference series between the University of Notre Dame softball team and Syracuse that was set for Friday night.
The Irish and Orange remain scheduled for a 3 p.m. (ET) first pitch on Saturday in what will now be the series lid-lifting game. A Sunday doubleheader at 10:30 a.m. is tentatively set to close the series at Melissa Cook Stadium.
