Doubles Team Falls in Rolex Finals
MADISON, Wis. — The University of Notre Dame doubles team ofsenior Erin Gowen and sophomore Jennifer Hall advanced to thefinals of the Midwest Regional Rolex Tournament before losing toColleen Lucy and Melissa Zimpfer of Wisconsin by a 7-6, 6-3count.
Hall turned in Notre Dame’s best singles performance of thetournament as she advanced to the semifinals of the event beforelosing to Elisa Penalyo of Marquette by a 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 count.
