NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame’s women’s golf season continues on Monday at the 2019 Brickyard Collegiate.
The Fighting Irish will be taking part in the two-day tournament for the first time.
It marks Notre Dame’s first tournament since placing sixth at the 2019 Clover Cup. Senior Isabella DiLisio led the Irish in that event, tying for seventh at five-over par (75-73-73=221).

Format/Tee Times: The teams will play 36 holes on Monday (shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.), followed by 18 holes on Tuesday (split tees starting at 8:30 a.m.).

Rounds In The 60s Fuel The Irish Lineup
- Exactly half of Notre Dame’s 16 under-par rounds as a team thus far in the 2018-19 season have been individual 18-hole scores registering in the 60s.
- Three different Fighting Irish players have shot eight sub-70 rounds over three different tournaments for Notre Dame this year.
- Sophomore Abby Heck has fashioned four of her five under-par scores within the 60s thus far, while senior Emma Albrecht has chipped in three rounds under 70. Senior Isabella DiLisio also carded a final-round 69 at the Schooner Fall Classic last September.
Irish Pick Up First Team Top-Five Finish Of 2019
- Notre Dame equaled its best team finish of the 2018-19 campaign by tying for fifth place at the Westbrook Spring Invitational on Feb. 24-25 at the Westbrook Village Golf Club Vistas Course in Peoria, Arizona.
- Emma Albrecht fired three straight rounds under par for the Fighting Irish that featured a four-under-par 68 in round two, ultimately carrying the Notre Dame senior to a share of second place with a three-round score of 208 (70-68-70, -8).
- The runner-up result for Albrecht was her fifth top-25 finish in six starts thus far in 2019, and her second top-five placement (tied for fourth at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational last October). Albrecht is Notre Dame’s active leader with eight career top-10 finishes, including four tournaments within the final top five.

- The women’s golf team posted Notre Dame’s top team GPA for the 2018 fall semester with an impressive 3.652 mark.
