ROSEMONT, Ill. — A league-high 21 Notre Dame players earned Academic All-Big Ten honors the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon (March 17).
With freshman ineligible per Big Ten rules, it means each eligible Notre Dame player earned the honor this season.
Seniors Pierce Crawford, Matt Hellikson, Nick Sanford, Dylan St. Cyr, Matt Steeves and Colin Theisen had the added distinction of earning Big Ten All-Academic Team honors in each of the past three seasons.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 1 for winter sports, who have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
