The Irish are back on the road this weekend as Notre Dame takes on the Syracuse Orange on Friday, Oct. 7 and will take on the Boston College Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 8.

SETTING THE STAGE
• Notre Dame is back on the road as they travel to take on Syracuse on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m. and then travel to Boston College on Sunday, Oct. 9, to face the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

• This will be the 38th meeting between the Irish and the Orange with Notre Dame leading the overall series 28-9.

LAST WEEKEND’S matches against Georgia Tech and Clemson
• The Irish finished the weekend 0-2 as they fell to No. 11 Georgia Tech in three sets (12-25, 23-25, 19-25) on Friday, Sept. 30, and fell to the Clemson Tigers in a close five sets (17-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-21,13-15) on Sunday, Oct. 2 in Purcell Pavilion.
• The Irish finished with an ACC high of 21.5 team blocks in Sunday’s match against Clemson, where the Irish tallied 10 solo blocks and 23 block assists.
• Charity McDowell finished with a career-high 10 blocks and Paris Thompson recorded a career-high 16 kills against the Tigers.
• Phyona Schrader was just four kills shy of another triple-double as she recorded six kills, 24 digs, and 34 assists on Sunday.
