SOUTH BEND, Ind. – With inclement weather in the area during the day on Saturday, the University of Notre Dame softball program has moved Saturday’s game with the Pittsburgh Panthers to a doubleheader Sunday. First pitch for the first game of the twinbill is set for 11 a.m. at Melissa Cook Stadium.
Immediately following the conclusion of the second game, join the team on the field for its annual Strikeout Cancer Home Run Derby. $10 for 10 swings and the money will be part of a donation to the Samantha Hickey Foundation to help local families affected by cancer.
