TULSA, Okla. – The first major ITA national championship event took place this past week as Tulsa, Oklahoma, once again played host to the Men’s All-American Championships. Notre Dame senior Sebastian Dominko made a run in the main draw to the Round of 16, picking up two ranked victories against ACC foes along the way. In addition, grad transfer Perry Gregg competed in his first event as a Fighting Irish, recording two wins in pre-qualifying.
Dominko entered the 2025 fall campaign ranked No. 10 in the country. In the Main Draw Round of 64, he dispatched No. 25 Noa Vukadin of Clemson, 6-7(3), 7-5, 6-2. In the next round, Dominko battled back yet again after dropping the first set to advance past No. 98 Keegan Rice of Virginia, 4-6, 7-5, 7-5.
Up next, a top-12 showdown in the Round of 16 as Dominko and No. 12 Sebastian Gorzny of Texas battled it out well into a third set. There, Gorzny was able to push ahead 11-9 to ultimately take it 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(9).
On the doubles side, the No. 12-ranked pair of Sebastian Dominko and Chase Thompson earned a spot in the Round of 32 Main Draw where they were matched against No. 64 Ondrej Horak and Karim Al-Amin of Middle Tennessee State. However, the Irish duo lost in a tough three-set battle, 4-6, 6-4, 6-10.
