Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, Grace Courtney, Lainey Mullins and Jeremy Kelly have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. The honor recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.

Courtney is a senior from Cincinnati and just wrapped up her Irish career with a third consecutive trip to NCAA Championships where she finished 39th in the 1-meter and 37th in the 3-meter. She will graduate with a business analytics degree in May.

A junior from Hockessin, Delaware and psychology major, Mullins made her first appearance at NCAA Championships this year in the 200 fly and was also named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association Second-Team All-American for her contributions to the 800 free relay at the meet.

Kelly joined the Irish this year after spending his freshman year at Texas, and he was a major contributor from the start. The 200 IM school record holder notched a 26th place finish at NCAA Championships and also competed on all three Notre Dame freestyle relays at the meet — 200, 400 and 800. Kelly hails from Georgetown, Texas and is majoring in computer science.

In addition to making the cut for the Academic All-District Team, Kelly is a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The First-, Second- and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced April 29.
