SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Fifth year offensive lineman Ashton Craig, senior wide receiver Jaden Greathouse, junior linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and junior running back Kedren Young have all been selected to the 2026 College Football Comeback Player of the Year Pre-Season Watch List.

Craig started the first six games of the year in 2025 before missing the rest of the season due to injury. He’s appeared in 17 games with 12 starts on the offensive line during his Irish career and was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List earlier this month.

He was part of an offensive line that helped Notre Dame average 5.69 yards per carry, tied for the third-best clip in the country and the second-highest yards per carry in a single season in program history. The Irish offense ranked sixth among Power 4 programs with 203.4 rushing yards per game while allowing just 1.00 sack per game, the eighth-lowest total in the country.

Greathouse appeared in the first four games of the season in 2025 before missing the rest of the season due to injury. He caught four passes for 73 yards prior to missing the rest of the season. In 2024, Greenhouse posted 592 receiving yards on 42 receptions, but broke out in the College Football Playoff Semifinal against Penn State and Championship game versus Ohio State, hauling in a combined 13 catches for 233 yards and three touchdowns in the final two games of the season. 

Viliamu-Asa saw time in 11 games last year, making two starts before missing the final game of the season due to injury. The Inland Empire, California native finished fourth on the team with 48.0 total tackles. He notched 7.5 tackles for loss and three sacks to go along with an interception, two pass breakups and five quarterback hurries during his sophomore season. 

Young missed the entirety of the 2025 season due to injury. In 2024, he recorded 116 rushing yards on 21 attempts and found the endzone against Navy for his first career touchdown.
