SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Senior wide receiver Jaden Greathouse earned selection to the 2026 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List, The award annually recognizes the outstanding Division I college football offensive player who played football at and graduated from a Texas high school and/or plays football at a Division I Texas four-year college or university. It’s the third straight year Greathouse has been named to the watch list.
A graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, Greathouse Greathouse appeared in the first four games of the season in 2025 before missing the rest of the season due to injury. He caught four passes for 73 yards prior to missing the rest of the season. In 2024, Greenhouse posted 592 receiving yards on 42 receptions, but broke out in the College Football Playoff Semifinal against Penn State and Championship game versus Ohio State, hauling in a combined 13 catches for 233 yards and three touchdowns in the final two games of the season.
Greathouse finished his high school career as the most prolific receiver in Westlake history with 232 receptions, 4,035 yards and 53 touchdowns. The 4,035 receiving yards rank as the 15th-most in Texas high school football history. He won three state titles at Westlake and was the 2021 State Championship Offensive MVP, when he posted 236 yards receiving to set the record for reception yards in the state championship game. He was the 2019 Texas District 25-6A Co-Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, leading Westlake to the Texas 6A D-II state championship.
