SLOVENIA - 2026 Notre Dame tennis alumnus Sebastian Dominko had a stellar weekend in his hometown of Maribor, Slovenia, winning both the singles and doubles titles at the recent ITF M25.
Unseeded in the singles draw, Dominko won five matches to claim the singles crown. In the quarterfinals, Dominko knocked off two-seed Dimitar Kuzmanov, 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-2 to advance. In the finals against one-seed Samuele Pieri, Dominko battled back after losing the first set 4-6, to claim the next two sets, 6-3, 6-4.
Dominko then partnered with fellow Slovenian Filip Jeff Planinsek for the doubles main draw, where they won four matches to secure the title. In the finals, Dominko once again knocked off the No. 1 seed, this time Theodore Dean and Aadarsh Tripathi, 7-5, 6-2.
