CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Notre Dame volleyball team fell Saturday morning in a back and forth battle to Duquesne in five sets, 19-25, 25-18, 26-24, 24-26, 14-16.
Mae Kordas had a career-day for Notre Dame, putting up career-bests with 18 kills, seven digs and three service aces on the day. It was the fifth career game with double figure kills for the Carlsbad, California native.
Isabella Sangha also notched a career-high, posting 13 kills as the freshman from Fort Lauderdale continues to shine early in the year.
For the sixth-straight game this season, Sydney Helmers logged double-digit kills, this time posting 16. The senior has 19 double figure kills the past two seasons and has 99 kills this year.
Coming off a 39 assist match last night, Maya Baker posted 48 assists Saturday, besting her career-high from a mere 16 hours ago. It was the most assists by a Notre Dame player since the 2024 season.
Notre Dame will look to bounce back tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. ET against College of Charleston, broadcast on FloCollege.
