CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Notre Dame volleyball team dropped Friday night’s conference opener at Boston College in four sets, 25-23, 20-25, 18-25, 17-25. The Irish are now 3-7 on the year and 0-1 in ACC play.
Mae Kordas continued her strong play, posting her first career double-double with 14 kills and 13 digs. Sydney Helmers, who returned after missing the previous two games with an injury, totaled 10 kills and three blocks.
Maya Evens chipped in 19 digs (4.75 per set) while Maya Baker and Lily Fenton combined for 36 assists.
The Irish will look to bounce back Sunday at Syracuse at 1:00 p.m. ET on ACC Network Extra.
