SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Notre Dame women’s golf team hosted the Fighting Irish Classic over the weekend at the Warren Golf Course, finishing tied for fourth in the 14 team field with a 30-over 882.
Purdue won the tournament with a 1-under 851 followed by Louisville (+21) and Wisconsin (+28), the Irish and North Florida (+30).
Jordan Levitt recorded her second-straight top-10 finish to open the 2026-27 campaign, finishing tied for seventh with a 2-over 215 over the three rounds.
Teammates Bridget Wilkie and Faustine Errecade each had notable performances on the weekend, each placing tied for 11th with 4-over 217s. Errecade competed as an individual for the tournament, finishing 1-under over her final 36 holes of play.
Purdue’s Samantha Brown was the individual champion, recording a 4-under 209 over the two days of play.
ROUND ONE:
The tournament featured 36 holes of action on Saturday with play beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Notre Dame found itself in ninth place following the morning session with an 18-over 302.
Wilkie paced the Irish in round one with a 1-over 72, featuring a very steady round with 15 pars. Levitt carded the second-best Notre Dame score of the opening 18 holes with a 3-over 74. Alexsandra Lapple and Kate Strickland each tallied 7-over 78s to round out the Irish scorers.
ROUND TWO:
The Irish fought back in the afternoon portion of the day, firing a 2-over 286 to climb up the leaderboard into fifth place with an overall score of 20-over heading into Sunday’s final round of competition. The 2-over round was the second-best score recorded by a team in the second round.
Levitt turned in the best round of any Notre Dame golfer on the day, posting a 3-under 68 to move her into the top-10 on the individual leaderboard (T-7th, even par). The sophomore’s round featured five birdies.
Wilkie remained consistent with another 1-over 72 to move her overall score to 2-over on the day. Lapple and teammate Maddy Bante each posted scores of 2-over 73s to complete the strong round from the Fighting Irish and move the team into the top-five after with just 18 holes of play remaining.
ROUND THREE:
Notre Dame closed out the Fighting Irish Classic with a 10-over 294 to move into a tie for fourth with North Florida. The Irish have now finished in the top five in each of their first two tournaments to start the season.
Wilkie and Levitt had the low rounds of the day for the Irish that scored, each with 2-over 73s. Bante and Strickland were right behind the duo, each recording 3-over 74s.
The best score from any Notre Dame golfer on Sunday belonged to Errecade, who finished even par with a 71.

Notre Dame heads west next weekend, traveling to Denver to compete in the Ron Moore Invitational at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch. The Invite is slated to get underway on Friday, Oct. 2 and wrap up on Sunday, Oct. 4.
