SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame volleyball team continues conference play this week with a home-and-home against fourth-ranked Louisville. Game one is set for Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET at Louisville followed by a Saturday matchup inside Purcell Pavilion at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
Notre Dame trails the all-time series against Louisville 23-27. The Irish are looking for their first win since September 25, 2020 over the Cardinals.
Last weekend, Notre Dame split its conference opening slate, sweeping Syracuse on Sunday after falling to Boston College Friday.
The Irish made quick work of Syracuse, winning 25-17, 25-18, 25-14. It was the third sweep of the year for Notre Dame.
Maya Evens will look to continue her strong play. Her 4.52 digs per set are ranked second in the ACC and her 5.0 digs per set in conference play is first.
Last season, Notre Dame posted nine wins in ACC play under head coach Salima Rockwell, the best since she took over in 2022. Rockwell is one win away from 50 career wins as the head coach of the Irish.
