Bloomington, Ind. - The Notre Dame women’s tennis team took the short trip south to Bloomington to compete in the 2026 Hoosier Classic over the past weekend. The fall event featured Irish players in five different singles flights and three doubles flights.

Sophomore Sophia Holod and freshman Skye Madatali shone the brightest in singles play, each recording a perfect 3-0 record. Furthermore, junior Bianca Molnar produced a 2-1 record in Flight 1.

In doubles, three Irish duos performed at .500 or better this weekend. The pairing of Bianca Molnar and Gabriella Rawles went 1-1 with a 6-4 win over Priyanka Rana & Sydney Hrehor of Ball State.

Mari-Louis Van Zyl and Lily Rochon defeated pairings from Louisville and Miami OH to tally a 2-1 record. Likewise, Jessica Kovalcik and Sophia Holod went 2-1 after defeating pairs from Kansas State and Ball State.

Up next is the ITA Midwest Regionals in Champaign, starting on Oct. 8. Last year, Molnar won the doubles title and was runner-up in singles.
