FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Notre Dame swimming and diving is back on the West Coast this weekend to close out the 2024-25 campaign with Ben Nguyen’s platform diving event on Saturday. Like last weekend’s Women’s NCAA Championships, the meet will be held at the Weyerhaueser King County Aquatics Center outside of Seattle.
Nguyen reached this point by finishing fourth at Zone C Championships in mid-March. He just missed qualifying in the 3-meter as well, placing 16th at the meet at Ohio State.
The junior is the school record holder in the platform event and placed sixth at ACC Championships in February. Nguyen also competed in the platform at last year’s NCAA Championships, earning a 37th place finish.
