EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) – Lindsay Bowen scored 26 points and backcourt partner Kristin Haynie added 23 to lead Michigan State over No. 17 Notre Dame, 92-63 on Wednesday night.
The Spartans (3-0) led for all but the first 20 seconds and outshot, outpassed and outrebounded the Fighting Irish (2-2).
Michigan State shot 57 percent from the field, 56 percent from 3-point range, and outrebounded Notre Dame 40-20.
Jacqueline Batteast and Courtney LaVere led Notre Dame with 12 points apiece.
Notre Dame failed to grab an offensive rebound in the first half and committed 19 turnovers.
Michigan State led 45-29 at halftime.
