SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame men’s lacrosse program and Baumer Family Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Kevin Corrigan announced the 2026 schedule, an 11-game slate that features five games at Arlotta Stadium and Loftus Sports Center.

The Irish enter the season ranked in the top 10 again, earning the No. 7 ranking from the US Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll.
The Irish have reached 18 of the last 19 NCAA Championships and have played in 13 of the last 15 quarterfinals entering the 2026 season. Notre Dame is set to return its entire starting defensive unit from the 2025 season that claimed a share of the ACC regular season title.
TOUGHEST SCHEDULE IN THE COUNTRY
Notre Dame always challenges itself by playing one of the toughest schedules in the country and the 2026 slate will be no different. Of Notre Dame’s 11 regular-season opponents, eight are in the top 15 of USA Lacrosse Magazine’s preseason rankings and nine are in the top 20. The Irish are set to face six opponents ranked in the top 10 of the poll, including four matchups against teams in the top five. Notre Dame will square off against No. 1 Maryland, No. 2 Syracuse, No. 4 Georgetown, No. 5 North Carolina, No. 8 Duke, No. 10 Richmond, No. 11 Ohio State, No. 13 Virginia and No. 20 Michigan.
LOADED HOME SLATE
Four of five home games of the regular-season schedule are against teams ranked in the preseason poll. The Irish welcome No. 4 Georgetown (Feb. 22) and No. 20 Michigan (March 14) in non-conference showdowns early in the spring. The other highly touted teams to visit Notre Dame are No. 5 North Carolina (April 11) and No. 2 Syracuse (April 25) in big ACC matchups.
LACROSSE DAY IN CHICAGO
The Irish are taking part in the second annual Lacrosse Day in Chicago event on April 4 at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium, hosted by Northwestern. The Irish will take on No. 10 Richmond in a marquee matchup at 12:30 p.m. ET (11:30 a.m. CT) before the Northwestern women’s team takes on USC following Notre Dame’s game. B1G NON-CONFERENCE BATTLES
Three of Notre Dame’s seven non-conference games will be played against teams from the Big Ten. The Irish will play both Maryland (Feb. 28) and Ohio State (March 7) on the road before welcoming Michigan (March 14) to Arlotta Stadium as part of its non-conference schedule.
ACC SLATE
The ACC is always a gauntlet and 2026 appears to be no different with all five members of the league ranked in the top 15. The Irish will travel to Virginia (March 28) and Duke (April 18) while playing host to North Carolina (April 11) and Syracuse (April 25).
