GREENSBORO, N.C. – 16 Notre Dame women’s soccer players landed on the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced today.
The Irish had nine first-time members on the list, while seven who have achieved multiple All-ACC Academic Honors. Among those include Leah Klenke, Laney Matriano and Ellie Ospeck who all earned the third honor of their careers.
A conference-record 248 student-athletes were awarded on this year’s women’s soccer All-ACC Academic Team. All 17 ACC women’s soccer programs are represented on the All-ACC Academic Team. ACC newcomer Stanford led the way with 21 honorees, while Clemson and Virginia followed with 17 apiece.
To be selected to the All-ACC Team, academic requirements must meet a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during each person’s academic year. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.
