BRIGHTON, Mass. – Notre Dame softball dropped Wednesday’s ACC Championship First Round matchup against the sixth-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels 2-0. Notre Dame finishes the season 23-31-1.
Micaela Kastor threw her fifth complete game of the season. She finished with a line of: 6.0 innings pitched, 4 hits, 2 earned runs and three strikeouts. Kastor finishes her junior season with 123 strikeouts, 51 more than last season.
The Irish had four hits during the game. Addison Amaral, Kaia Cortes, Rachel Allen and Avery Houlihan all collected singles in the season finale.
