NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame baseball team continues its 11-game homestand with a midweek matchup versus Valparaiso at 6:05 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
The Irish (17-23) will look to win their third straight game as they battle the Crusaders (14-20) in an important non-conference game at Frank Eck Stadium.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series, 78-21, including a record of 53-10 at home.
Most recently, the Irish defeated the Crusaders, 10-3, on April 25, 2017, at Frank Eck Stadium. Notre Dame has won six straight in the series.

- Jake Johnson owns a 13-game on-base streak during which he is batting .370 (17-46) with 11 walks, six runs scored and five RBI.
- Eric Gilgenbach has collected six multi-hit games in the month of April (14 games). During that span, the outfielder is batting .347 (17-for-49).
- Matt Vierling owns a seven-game hitting streak, batting .414 (12-29) with one double, one homer, five runs scored and six RBI in those contests.
