BERKELEY, Calif. — After five consecutive ACC home games, Notre Dame (13-7, 5-4) is back on the road in conference play and starts a West Coast swing against Cal (12-9, 3-5) on Thursday night. Chris Sylvester and Layshia Clarendon will have the ACCNX call from Haas Pavilion.

NOTES — 

  • Notre Dame continues to boast a top-25 offense nationally, ranking 21st and averaging 80.1 points per game. The Irish also rank eighth nationally with 14.3 steals per game.
  • Hannah Hidalgo continues to pace the ACC in scoring (24.9) and the nation in steals (5.9). Her points/rebounds/assists is 36.1, second nationally.
  • Hidalgo has more steals this year (396) than 21 D-1 teams.
  • Cassandre Prosper is one of three players to rank in the top 10 in the ACC in both points (15.7) and rebounds (7.7).
  • Vanessa de Jesus is shooting 56.7 percent from deep in the last 10 contests. She has six games this year with at least six made threes.
  • Iyana Moore is averaging 3.3 triples per game in ACC play, which leads the conference. She also ranks second in the ACC with a 40.4 success rate from deep on the year (48th nationally).
  • After shooting 28.2 percent from three-point range as a team in the first seven games this year, Notre Dame is 39.2 percent since (13 games). The Irish have shot at least 50 percent from deep in four of the last eight games.
