CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Notre Dame junior Mark Quatrani was named as the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week for his performance during the week of April 27 through May 3.

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Quatrani posted a .632 batting average on the week as the Irish went 5-0 with wins over Central Michigan, Milwaukee and Stanford. In an ACC series sweep of Stanford, he registered a .643 batting average on a 9-for-14 effort. Quatrani had two doubles, a home run, three runs and a team-leading eight RBI. Four of his eight RBI came with two outs. He added a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage (1.625 OPS) in the three-game league series and added a 4-for-6 effort with runners in scoring position.
