FIFTH-YEAR SEASON (2011): Enjoyed a stellar final season with the Irish, earning National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Great Lakes all-region and all-BIG EAST first team honors … concluded career ranked second on the Notre Dame all-time list with a .992 fielding percentage, committing only five errors behind the dish in 627 career chances … as a senior, batted .375 with 13 doubles, seven home runs, 39 RBI, a .625 slugging percentage, a .463 on-base percentage and 44 runs scored in 55 games split between catcher and designated player … scored a pair of runs at Central Florida (Feb. 18) … logged two base hits each against Delaware (Feb. 19) and Miami (Ohio) (Feb. 20) … went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and a run scored against Fordham (March 6) … contributed two RBI against Northern Illinois (March 25) … smashed first home run of the season against Purdue (March 31) at Melissa Cook Stadium … chipped in a double, two RBI and three runs in the opening game of a BIG EAST series against Providence (April 2) … 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs scored in the series finale against the Friars (April 3) … drove in a total of five runs in a doubleheader against Butler (April 7) … reached base in all four plate appearances, scoring three runs in opening game at Syracuse (April 10) … added two RBI in the nightcap against the Orange (April 10) … drilled a home run with three RBI in the final game of a BIG EAST set against Louisville (April 17) … went 3-for-4 and scored a pair of runs at Villanova (April 21) … logged a perfect 3-for-3 day with a home run, two RBI and three runs in the nightcap against Pittsburgh (May 4) … recorded two hits and scored a run in game one of the last BIG EAST series of the season at Connecticut (May 7) … closed set against the Huskies with a game-winning grand slam in the top of the seventh inning (May 8) … performance led to BIG EAST Player of the Week recognition (May 9).

AS A SENIOR (2010):Played in 54 games while starting 48 of those contests … batted .254 with 33 hits, 22 runs, nine doubles and a trio of home runs that helped yield 19 RBI … slugged at a .408 rate with four sacrifices … started the year with one hit while driving in a score against Creighton (Feb. 12) … had a pair of singles against Oregon State (Feb. 13) … drove in two runs with a double at Southern Miss (Feb. 20) … tripled against Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 21) … enjoyed a five-game hitting streak from Feb. 20-Feb. 27 … drove in three runs with a bases-clearing double against George Washington (Feb. 26) … stole second career base against Purdue (March 13) … went 4-for-6 with four RBI, three runs and a pair of home runs in a two-game series with Toledo (March 24) … drove in at least one run in four straight games from March 24-27 … scored one run and notched an RBI in the BIG EAST opener at Seton Hall (March 27) … ended game two against Rutgers (April 3) with an unconventional walk-off home run in the sixth to cap an 8-0 win over the Scarlet Knights … the solo dinger pushed her across the plate for the second time that day … had two hits and two RBI during an April 10 doubleheader with USF, including a double … went 54 at-bats without a strikeout (Feb. 27-April 10) … doubled at Louisville (April 18) … drove in one run at DePaul (April 22) … one hit in four straight games from April 24-28 … scored one run in each of the three games versus Villanova (April 24-25).

AS A JUNIOR (2009):Steady force behind the dish for the Irish … hit .271 in her debut season in a Notre Dame uniform with 32 hits while scoring 14 times … nine of her hits were for extra bases, including five home runs and three triples … drove in 25 runs on 54 total bases … posted a .458 slugging percentage … finished with a .988 fielding percentage with 225 putouts and 29 assists … first hit came against Texas Tech (March 8) in the form of a two-RBI triple … added a second in her next outing at No. 5 UCLA (March 10) … two RBI with a home run against Western Michigan (March 25) … first multi-hit effort came at Georgetown (March 28) on a 2-for-3 day along with one triple and two runs scored … blasted a three-run home run at USF (March 29), and drove in three more runs against Seton Hall (April 5) … 3-for-3 against Valparaiso (April 9) … hit a three-run homer during a 2-for-4 day at Connecticut (April 11), finishing with four RBI … posted two more home runs over the next four games … posted six multi-hit and eight multi-RBI games.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008):Redshirted as a sophomore.

PREP AND PERSONAL:Local product returns to the area after spending the 2007 season at the University of Tennessee … sat out the 2008 season as a redshirt-sophomore … batted .297 as a freshman at Tennessee and earned starting nods in 33 of 59 games – including seven starts in the NCAA Tournament and all three of UT[apos]s contests in the Women[apos]s College World Series … nine of her 35 hits were good for extra bases to drive in 22 runs, and she paired a .441 slugging percentage with a .359 on-base mark … put together a season-best six-game hitting streak (Feb. 24-March 6) in addition to posting six multi-hit games and five multi-RBI efforts … prepped at Culver Girls Academy (Ind.) where she was a 2006 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-North Region selection, Gatorade[apos]s Indiana Player of the Year, and the Hoosier Diamond Indiana Miss Softball … still holds state records for career home runs (43) and grand slams (5) … also set the state record for single-season homers with 15 in 2006 and broke Indiana[apos]s single-season walk record by drawing 44 free passes during her junior year … holds the Indiana state mark for career put-outs by a catcher with 1,305 … in 2006 she was named MVP of the Indiana All-Star Game to cap off a high school career in which she carried a .529 clip at the plate and had 152 RBI … reaped all-state honors on four occasions, with first-team nods in 2005 and 2006 and a pair of third-team selections in 2003 and 2004, while helping her team to a four-year mark of 95-13 … during her senior season she finished second among batters statewide with a .611 average … also recorded a .633 on-base percentage, 1.346 slugging percentage, 25 stolen bases, 40 runs scored, 43 RBI, 12 doubles and a pair of triples … defensively, the catcher posted a fielding percentage of .995 … as a junior at Culver, she hit a solid .551 with 11 dingers, 38 RBI and a slugging percentage of 1.231, while 27 of her 43 hits during the year went for extra bases … also made her presence felt between the posts as a first-team all-conference soccer player after guiding Culver to a conference title and a 13-2-2 mark in 2005 … daughter of Kim and Pam Clay … has one brother, Blake … graduated from the College of Arts &?Letters with a degree in Spanish.
