AS A SENIOR (2014-15): Closed out career with first appearance at NCAA Championships … earned honorable mention All-America honors on the 1-meter board after finishing ninth with 325.20 points … also claimed 18th on the 3-meter board with 320.55 points … qualified for the NCAA Championships after an outstanding NCAA Zone C meet … finished eighth on the 3-meter dive (613.70 points) and ninth on the 1-meter discipline (586.70 points) to qualify for NCAA’s in both events … placed in the top 10 on both the 3-meter (8th – 300.35 points) and 1-meter (10th – 278.40) disciplines at the ACC Championships … also claimed 23rd on the platform (195.45) … won the 1-meter dive (308.10) in a double dual meet against Auburn and Vanderbilt … finished second on the 1-meter board (301.80) in a dual meet against No. 24 Purdue … picked up a win on the 1-meter (298.75) in a double dual against Pitt and Virginia Tech … won the 1-meter dive (315.07) and finished second on the 3-meter board (292.43) in a dual meet against Illinois … set the Hawkeye Invitational record with 321.40 points to win the 1-meter dive … also placed first on the 3-meter board (328.65 points) … placed first on the 3-meter board (295.30) and took second on the 1-meter (273.80) in a double dual against Michigan and Northwestern … won the 1-meter discipline (327.50) and placed second on the 3-meter (331.05) in a double dual against No. 24 Wisconsin and No. 14 Indiana … both scores were NCAA Zone C qualifying marks … claimed both the 1- (321.5) and the 3-meter (359.75) titles at the Shamrock Invitational … won the 1-meter dive (333.52 – career best) in a dual meet against Cleveland State … tallied the team’s best point totals of the year on both boards: 1-meter (333.52 – Cleveland State) & 3-meter (359.75 – Shamrock) … named a CSCAA Scholar All-American … served as a tri-captain with teammates Bridget Casey and Courtney Whyte … was a two-time team captain throughout career (2013-14 & 2014-15) … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.
AS A JUNIOR (2013-14): Was a key contributor for the diving team … earned six first-place finishes on the 1-meter board (Shamrock Invitational, Wisconsin, Hawkeye Invitational, Purdue, Auburn/Indiana and Michigan/Northwestern/Rutgers) … qualified for the NCAA Zone C meet in the 1-meter, finishing eighth out of 45 divers … also dove in the 3-meter at the zone meet, finishing 22nd (261.25) … placed 12th in the 1-meter at the ACC Championships (282.20) … also finished 13th on the 3-meter board (312.10) and 15th on the platform (240.60) … named ACC Women’s Diver of the Week (Nov. 19) after winning the 3-meter dive against Valparaiso (Nov. 15) with a career-high 361.20 points and then sweeping both events the next day against Wisconsin Nov. 16 … selected a team tri-captain with Bridget Casey and Emma Reaney … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … participated in the Rosenthal Leadership Academy … earned a monogram.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Proved a crucial diver for the Irish in 2012-13 … placed in the top eight for all three events at the BIG EAST Championships, taking home the gold in the 1-meter diving discipline with a score of 311.80 … also placed third on the 3-meter board (320.20) and seventh in the platform (185.15) … earned two all-BIG EAST scrolls … qualified for the NCAA Zones … placed first in 1-meter diving at multiple meets throughout the season, including against Michigan, Northwestern, Purdue, Pittsburgh, Toledo and Auburn … earned season-best score in 3-meter diving (327.67) while grabbing the gold against Purdue … a member of the BIG EAST All-Academic team … earned a monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12): Talented diver who garnered all-BIG EAST honors in first collegiate season … brought home the silver medal in first appearance in the 1-meter dive (283.80) at the BIG EAST Championships … placed seventh in the 3-meter dive at the same meet … posted a season-best score of 304.12 in the 1-meter dive en route to snaring the gold against Michigan State … earned another season-best result in the 3-meter event (326.77) while taking second in the same meet … won top honors in the 3-meter dive at dual meets against Purdue and Pittsburgh … took second place in the 1-meter dive against both opponents as well … earned a monogram.
HIGH SCHOOL & PERSONAL: Graduated from Troy High School (Calif.) in the spring of 2011 … lettered four times in diving … finished in second place for the 1-meter and third place for the 3-meter at the 2011 JO Zones in Tucson, Arizona … also competed at the JO Nationals from 2007-11 and the Senior Nationals from 2009-10 … was a conference champion all four years … earned a national ranking all four years and was named All-American as a junior … selected as team captain three times … competed at the world trials in May 2011 in Tallahassee, Florida … on the Pacific Diving Academy club team … named to the Gold Honor Roll … participated in the National Honor Society and Troy Tech Program … volunteered with the Bottles of the Bay group, which was the Troy High School recycling club … born to Carl and Sharon Casareto in Whittier, California … has two younger brothers, Dominick and Vincent … has a cousin, Robert Norton, who played college baseball at Whittier … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in accounting … finished with a 3.164 GPA.
