Ally Bojczuk 2019-20 Women's Tennis Roster

AS A JUNIOR: 

The 2020 season was shortened due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

• Ended the season with a 13-9 record
• Earned five doubles wins on the season with four different partners

AS A SOPHOMORE: 

• Went 18-12 in singles action on the year, with a 13-9 record during the dual season
• Competed primarily at two singles, going 9-5 at that spot in the lineup, while going 4-2 at three singles
• Slotted at court three or higher in singles play the entire season
• Won final three singles decisions of the year, the second-longest active winning streak on the team at the conclusion of the season
• Recorded three singles victories over nationally-ranked opponents
• Compiled a 16-10 doubles record with a 12-8 mark during the spring and an 8-4 doubles record in ACC play
• Partnered with Zoe Taylor for most of the spring doubles season, with the pair going 8-3 at three doubles and 7-4 in ACC competition

AS A FRESHMAN: 

• Posted a 22-7 overall singles record, including a 15-6 mark during the spring season
• Won her first nine singles matches of the spring, with seven of those victories coming in straight sets
• Played a majority of matches at six singles, going 9-2
• Won her only match at three singles, while posting a 3-1 record on court four and a 2-3 mark on court five
• Played the majority of doubles action with Rachel Chong, going 3-4 during the spring at court three

PREP AND PERSONAL: 

• Graduated from Laurel Springs, an accelerated online high school, in April 2017
• Ranked 24th in the nation and No. 1 in the state of Tennessee according to the Tennis Recruiting Network entering freshman season (August 2017)
• Named the 2016 “Most Outstanding Female” tennis player in Tennessee
• Earned the “Most Improved Female” award as a freshman
• Third place at 2014 National Selection Doubles tournament
• Quarterfinalist at 2014 International Orange Bowl
• Finalist at 2014 National USTA Masters
• Champion at 2015 Southern Closed Championship G18 Doubles
• Fifth place and sportsmanship award winner at 2015 Winter Nationals
• 2015 Tennessee State qualifier singles and doubles winner
• Doubles semifinalist at 2015 Easter Bowl
• Member of the National Honor Society
• Plays guitar recreationally
• Volunteers with the Room at the Inn organization through her church, which offers a shelter for the homeless
• Volunteers as a youth tennis coach
• Daughter of Scott and Jackie Bojczuk and older sister to Nicky
