SOPHOMORE SEASON (2013): Appeared in 29 games during sophomore season, starting 14 contests (13 as the designated hitter, one in right field) … batted .224 with five doubles, two home runs, 12 RBI and seven runs … recorded an even .500 clip (6-for-12) with runners in scoring position … four of 12 total RBI came with two outs … stroked three doubles and finished with three RBI in 12 BIG EAST Conference games (six starts) … drew a pair of walks and scored a run in season debut against Ohio State (Feb. 16) … clubbed an RBI double in third straight start at designated hitter against Tennessee (March 1) … 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in first home start of the year against UIC (April 2) … contributed an RBI double to the Notre Dame cause in the opening game of a BIG EAST home series against Villanova (April 5) … logged a pinch-hit RBI single at Toledo (April 23) … smacked a two-run home run after entering the game in the designated hitter slot versus Michigan State (April 24) … pinch-hit two-run double in the final game of a conference series against Connecticut (April 28) … opened four-game hit streak with a single and a run scored at Cincinnati (May 17) … roped a double the following day as the starting designated hitter against the Bearcats (May 18) … drilled a two-run home run to break open the first Notre Dame contest of the BIG EAST Championship against Seton Hall (May 22) … chipped in an RBI single the following day against Pittsburgh (May 23) … earned a monogram.
