  • Academic All-Big Ten (March 23)

AS A SENIOR

  • One of the team’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council Representatives.
  • Began the season with a goal in the team’s home opener against Long Island (Oct. 9). 
  • Set career high for goals in a game with two, including the overtime game-winning goal at Michigan Tech (Oct. 15).
  • Recorded an assist in each road game against Michigan (Nov. 19-20), including the game-tying goal in game one and on the overtime game-winner in game two. 
  • Tallied a goal in Notre Dame’s 5-1 win over Ohio State (Dec. 4). 
  • Assisted on Nick Leivermann’s game-winning goal over Michigan State (Dec. 10).
  • Tied a career high with two goals en route to a 5-0 win over Niagara (Jan. 2).
  • Scored the game-tying goal late in the third period in an overtime victory over Penn State (Jan. 8).
  • That win over Penn State also marked his first game with a goal and an assist this season. 
  • Scored eighth goal of the season at Ohio State (Jan. 15) to extend point streak to a career-long three games (Jan 8-15; 2-2-4).
  • Added an assist against No. 2 Michigan enroute to a 4-1 victory (Feb. 25).

AS A JUNIOR

  • Skated in 14 games while scoring a goal and adding two assists for three points.
  • His goal and two assists came as he posted a career-high three points in the 8-1 win at Ohio State (Feb. 6).
  • Season was cut short due to an upper body injury that forced him to miss the final six games.

AS A SOPHOMORE

  • Scored two goals and recorded one assist in 36 games played as a sophomore.
  • Scored a third period goal to secure a 2-1 comeback victory against #8/9 Ohio State (Nov. 9).
  • Scored a goal in the 5-4 road victory against #15 Wisconsin (Nov. 16).
  • Scored the shootout winner in to give the Irish the extra point in the 3-3 tie against #8 Penn State (Jan. 31).

2018-19 AWARDS AND HONORS

• Named to the Dean’s List for the Fall Semester

AS A FRESHMAN
• Netted four goals and collected an assist in 32 games in his first season with the Irish.
• Made his Irish debut as the fourth line center in Notre Dame’s 2-1 win over seventh-ranked Ohio State (Nov. 3).
• Scored the game-winning goal in Notre Dame’s 3-1 win at Michigan State (Nov. 16) for his first career point in an Irish uniform.
• Named to the Dean’s List for the 2018 Fall Semester.
• Recorded his first career assist on Graham Slaggert’s game-opening goal in Notre Dame’s eventual 6-4 win at Wisconsin (Jan. 18).
• Scored Notre Dame’s third goal in an eventual 6-3 win over Michigan State (Jan. 25).

IN THE USHL

  • Spent the past two seasons in the USHL, competing for the Bloomington Thunder (2016-17), the Central Illinois Flying Aces (2017-18) and the Sioux Falls Stampede (2017-18).
  • Named captain of the Flying Aces for the 2017-18 season.
  • Accumulated 50 points during his time in the USHL (16-34-50).
  • Completed his USHL career with eight points for the Stampede (2-6-8) and a plus-four rating.
  • Skated in the 2017-18 Clark Cup playoffs with the Stampede where he recorded two goals and an assist in three games.
  • Recorded 23 points (8-15-23) while playing for the Central Illinois Flying Aces in 2017-18.

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Spent four years with the Boston Jr. Bruins organization (2012-16).
  • Tallied 17 points through 11 games with the Boston Jr. Bruins Selects U16 in 2014-15, finishing second on the team (5-12-17).
  • Led the team in assists with 12.
  • Recorded 14 points in 13 games with the Boston Jr. Bruins Selects 2 U18 team in 2015-16.
  • Competed for Noble & Greenough School from 2013-16.
  • Ranked third on the team in points in 2015-16 with 38 points (18-20-38).
  • Father, Garrett, played hockey at UMass Lowell from 1988-90.
  • Has two brothers, Cal and C.J.
  • Older brother, Cal, also plays hockey for Notre Dame.
