• Had the primary assist on Cal Burke’s overtime game-winning goal in Notre Dame’s 2-1 victory over Northern Michigan (Nov. 27).
• Scored the fourth goal in Notre Dame’s 5-1 win over RPI (Nov. 30).

• Scored his first career overtime game-winning goal for the Irish in Notre Dame’s 1-0 win at RPI , just 13 seconds into the extra stanza (Nov. 18).
• Notched a career-high three assists in Notre Dame’s 5-2 win over Minnesota (Nov. 25).
• Had a pair of assists in Notre Dame’s 6-2 win at Wisconsin (Dec. 9).
• Matched his career high with two goals in Notre Dame’s 6-3 win over Michigan State, including the game winner (Feb. 23).
• Scored the overtime game-winning goal in Notre Dame’s 3-2 victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament Championship game (March 17).
• Posted the primary assist on Jake Evans’ game-winner against Michigan, sending the team to the National Championship game (April 5).
• Assisted on Andrew Oglevie’s power play goal against Minnesota-Duluth in the final game of the season (April 7).
AS A FRESHMAN
• Posted two assists in his first career game, a 9-2 Notre Dame win over Arizona State (Oct. 7).
• Scored a goal in Notre Dame’s 6-2 win over UConn (Oct. 28).
• Had the game-winning goal (first of his career) and added an assist in Notre Dame’s 5-2 comeback win at Northeastern (Nov. 12).
• Notched a goal and an assist in Notre Dame’s 5-0 win over Alaska (Dec. 31).
• Scored the game-tying goal with 1:13 to play in the third period in Notre Dame’s 4-4 comeback tie versus Vermont (Feb. 3).
• Scored the third period, game-tying goal in a 3-3 tie versus 10th-ranked Providence (Feb. 18).
• Scored a power-play goal to tie the game at 1-1 and added an assist in Notre Dame’s 5-2 Hockey East quarterfinal game two win over Providence (March 11).
• Had an assist in Notre Dame’s 3-2 comeback win over Minnesota in the first round of the NCAA Championship (March 25).
• Scored twice in the NCAA Northeast Regional Final in the 3-2 overtime win against UMass Lowell, including the third period, game-tying goal at 14:43.
• That was his first career two-goal game.
• Netted a power-play goal to give the Irish their lone goal of the NCAA Frozen Four matchup against Denver. (Apr. 6.)
• Finished his inaugural season with the Irish with 12 goals and 12 assists for a total of 24 points.
IN THE USHL
• Played his first season in the USHL with Youngstown in 2015-16 and was named the USHL’s Rookie of the Year after scoring 34 goals and adding 32 assists for 66 points in 60 regular-season games.
• Morrison was also named a First Team USHL All-Star and he was selected to the All-Rookie First Team.
• He led all rookies in goals and points and his 34 goals also ranked third overall in the league.
• Earned USHL Rookie of the Week honors twice (Nov. 2 & April 11).
• He was the youngest player in the 2016 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game (Omaha, Nebraska) and scored a goal to help Team East to a 6-2 victory.
NHL DRAFT
• Selected in the second round, 40th overall, by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
• Ranked 46th among North American skaters in the final NHL Central Scouting ratings (2016).
• Invited to the 2016 NHL Scouting Combine at the First Niagara Center and the Harbor Center in Buffalo, New York (May 30-June 4).
WITH HOCKEY CANADA
• Competed with Team Canada at the IIHF U-18 World Championship, where he scored a goal and added three assists for four points in seven games.
IN THE OJHL
• Played the 2014-15 season with the Aurora Tigers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
• In 49 games with the Tigers, he scored 31 goals and added 22 assists for 53 points.
• His 31 goals led the team and ranked sixth in the league, while his 53 points were the fourth-most on the Tigers.
• Became the youngest player since 2008 to win OJHL Rookie of the Year honors and also was named the CJHL Rookie of the Year.

• Graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in Youngstown, Ohio.
• Selected as the 2016 Sport Aurora Athlete of the Year.
